Skate for Kids
During the 1991 recession, Stefan co-founded Skate for Nabs with Stephen Milic, Partner at Mandrake. The event has since raised $650,000 and is happening this year again in May 2009, involving friendly hockey games seeded with former NHL hockey players. Nabs was the early benefactor of the event’s proceeds as unemployment rose to dramatic levels. In 2009, proceeds will help communication colleagues and families once again. If you are play in a corporate hockey team or simply play with friends; please join us for a memorable event where you can lace up with the likes of Lindros, Flatley, Francheschetti, and 30 others. Marketing Hall of Legends
Stefan Co-Founded Marketing Hall of Legends in 2002. Since then, 41 inductees have been honored - see www.marketinghalloflegends.ca at an annual gala.
The foundation and sustainability of the initiative is about capturing the wisdom of Canadian titans and facilitate the knowledge transfer to our future legends. Marketing Hall of Legends has created a Legacy Program to nurture young talent and provide further educational opportunities for the community, year 'round to help cause future legends.
An anchor program is the Crystal Owl. The Owl can be bought as a gift by a mentee and gifted to a mentor who had a great influence on their career.
